Autumn Assembly – Facing the Future with Gratitude and Hope

Sisters and associates gathered this autumn to consider the theme, “Facing the Future with Gratitude and Hope.” The assembly was informed by the book Reseeding Religious Life through Global Sisterhood, edited by our own Susan Francois, CSJP, and Juliet Mousseau, RSCJ.

We first heard from a panel of the book’s authors: Monica Cardona, VDMF, Ricca Dimalibot, CCVI, Susan Francois, CSJP, and Sarah Kohles, OSF. That was later followed by responses from community members representing all regions: Margaret Byrne, CSJP, Chero Chuma, CSJP, Liz Dodd, CSJP, Mindy McDonald, CSJP, Stephanie Pierolo, CSJP-A, and Monica Purdue, CSJP-A. Our facilitator Michelle Stachowiak, CSSF, was present to guide us into deeper conversation.

The United Kingdom Autumn Assembly was held in Nottingham, England, on September 20, 2025.

The Eastern Region Autumn Assembly was held in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, on October 11, 2025.

The Western Autumn Assembly was held in Bellevue, Washington, on November 15-16, 2025.
