22nd General Chapter to be held in September

Chapter LogoSisters and Associates from across the Congregation will gather outside Seattle, Washington for our 22nd General Chapter to be held September 5-16. The theme of the Chapter is "Deeper and Wider ~ The Challenge of Peace." We are filled with joy that four women will profess vows as Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace at the Chapter.

Sisters Susan and KatrinaCSJPs Stand In Solidarity with Lummi Nation To Say No to Coal Exports

CSJP Sisters Katrina Alton, Julie Codd, and Susan Francois and CSJP Pre-Associate Elizabeth Hanson joined with 450 others at St. Mark's Episcopal Cathedral in Seattle, WA to stand in solidarity with the Lummi Nation's Totem Pole Journey which is intended to raise awareness and opposition to the proposed coal export terminals.

St. Joseph Home Celebrates 25 Years of sjh
Helping Women and Children

Former and current residents of St. Joseph Home, a program of the York Street Project, in Jersey City, NJ returned to celebrate the 25th anniversary of St. Joseph Home. Many brought their grown children AND grandchildren to celebrate and give thanks for the importance in their lives of St. Joseph Home and the staff.

Associate Covenanting Day in the Regions

CSJP Novices Sisters Sheena, Juliana, and Katrina

Our three CSJP Novices, Sisters Juliana Ngozi Iwuagwa, Katrina Alton, and Sheena George have created a short video to tell the story of what attracted them to the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace. The video also shares the story of our move to become One Congregation without provinces and to grow in nonviolence and care for creation as we continue to release our charism of peace through justice into the world.
