In April 2026, Marselys Lucero, Peace through Justice Director and our UN-NGO Representative, attended the 25th Session of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues in New York City. In May, he joined the Congregation via Zoom to provide a recap.

In November 2025, Blair Nelsen, Waterspirit Executive Director and our UN-NGO Representative, attended the United Nations Climate Conference (COP30) in Belém, Brasil. In December, she joined the Congregation via Zoom to provide a recap of COP30.

On June 10, 2025, Blair Nelsen, Waterspirit Executive Director and our UN-NGO Representative, moderated a virtual side event that coincided with the United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC3), held on June 9-13, 2025, in Nice, France.

In late October 2024, Blair Nelsen, Waterspirit Executive Director and our UN-NGO Representative, participated in the United Nations Biodiversity Conference (COP16) in Cali, Colombia. In December, she joined the Congregation via Zoom to discuss her work at the UN and to provide a recap of COP16.

The UN’s 68th annual Commission on the Status of Women (CSW68) took place between March 11 and 21 at the UN headquarters in New York. The goal of CSW is to seek equality for women in all areas including health, governance, the workplace, and in economics.
