Congregation Honored with Torch of Learning Award
We are proud to share that the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace recently received the “Torch of Learning Award” from the Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children (SFIC). During the SFIC Annual Gala on May 7, Sister Susan Francois, CSJP, accepted the honor on behalf of the Congregation at West Orange’s Pleasantdale Chateau.
This special fundraising event helps bridge the gap for students in the Archdiocese of Newark by providing essential partial-tuition scholarships to those in need. The Torch of Learning Award recognizes individuals who champion education and opportunity.
