Sisters and Associates Celebrate
The Sisters and Associates of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace from the eastern area of the United States gathered on December 11 at St. Peter’s auditorium in Englewood Cliffs, NJ for their yearly celebration of Advent, Christmas, and events of the past year!
Along with Mary they prayed “God who is mighty has done great things for me, holy is God’s name. God’s mercy is from age to age on those who fear God.” (Luke 1: 49-50) Demonstrating that we are family, those Associates and Sisters from the western area of the United States and the United Kingdom joined in spirit with those gathered in the east. Each region will have its own celebration at a later date.
The old adage, “a picture is worth a thousand words” is certainly appropriate at this point. Below are many more “words” singing “Glory to God on high heaven, peace on earth to those on whom God’s favor rests.” (Luke 2:9-13)
