Come and See Days in New Jersey and UK
Congregation Vocation Director Sister Jo-Anne Miller, CSJP and regional vocation team members from New Jersey and the UK recently met with women interested in our community as part of our Come & See Days. There are now four women actively interested in getting acquainted and discerning a call to religious life as a Sister of St. Joseph of Peace. Come and See Days were held in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey (May 7th) and London, England (May 28th).
Both Come and See Days included prayer and reflection on the baptismal call and a presentation about vocation, the call to religious life, and the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace--our spirit, charism and formation program. Also, several sisters told their vocation stories as part of the day. We also viewed a DVD on religious life called Jesus Calls Women. At both days, a lovely lunch was included as well as visits with the sisters.
