CSJPs minister to Seafarers
Sister Breege Leddy,CSJP, Sister Margaret Redmond, CSJP and Associate Jacqui Thompson, CSJP-A are extremely involved in , a huge Project in the United Kingdom which helps current and former seafarers and their families.
Margaret writes, “A number of our parishioners are involved with the Seafarers Chaplain in serving the seafarers by way of visiting ships and driving the minibus to take seafarers into the centre to makes calls and use internet to be in contact with families etc. Collecting Boxes are always available in our Churches and the Seafarer Chaplain Fr Colum Kelly often comes to say Mass, etc and give his update on work with ‘his boys’ ”.
